These days, it seems like almost every company has a website. It's no longer enough to just put a site on the Web and have your URL listed on Google, Yahoo!, and the other search engines. It's just as important that you spend the time to build a following with social media marketing. An informative industry blog doesn't hurt, either.
This may seem like an awful lot of extra work, but you've been working hard all year - maybe longer - to make your business the best it can be. Why not spend a little more time getting the word out? These are amongst the most effective advertising tools available - and best of all, many of them are free! All you have to do is learn how to use them. That's where Red Alice Design's training sessions come in.
Training and Support
Depending on the contract, each web design client automatically receives between one and five hours of training for one person on updating the company website and the basics of social media networking. Rates for other staff members are very competitive; they start at $20/hour for each additional staff members, with deep discounts for five or more workers.
Training covers using social media to reach out to potential customers, tips on getting positive reviews on online directories, using good SEO practices when updating your site content, and more. Each training is tailored to the needs of the client - so, for example, if you already have a Facebook page but aren't seeing any traffic we can help you build your fan base; or, if you want to feature different products in your online store and need help putting together an email newsletter, we can walk you through the fastest, most economical ways to do this.
Ongoing support for websites is also available for clients who don't have the time to make regular updates themselves. Packages start at $400.00/year for services such as weekly calendar updates, price changes, data entry for online stores, and more.
Other Support
Our staff are all excellent writers and editors. We have over 25 years combined experience writing and editing ad and marketing copy, press releases, web copy, and more. We can offer editorial assistance and writing services at a reasonable cost, or can direct you to online marketplaces where you can put a project out to bid with hundreds of other writers and editors.
Non-Profits and MBEs
We offer reduced rates to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations and to MBEs with fewer than 75 employees. Please contact us for details.

Beginning in January of 2012, all clients who request a new or upgraded website will also receive a copy of our upcoming brochure Social Media Success. Clients will also automatically receive Social Media Marketing for Newbies, the first book in our Guides To Social Media Marketing series. Those who sign up for supplemental training sessions will receive both the brochure and all three e-books, including our Social Media Workbook (also available in print form). These books will be available for purchase online after January 10, 2012. We will post an update here when they're ready.
